Why I'm glad I'm an aunt right now and not a mom
Hi fellow aunties,
Earlier this evening I was chatting with some women,and one was saying that her friend's 22-month old son had shot himself in the heart with a NAIL GUN!!! OH MY GOSH! My thoughts darted directly to my nephew.He's not as old as the little boy that shot himself (my nephew will be 1 a week from Sunday) but he IS pretty fast! It takes a split second for things to happen. I'll be honest. I'm handicapped and I'm NOT the quickest person on Earth. Had that happen to my nephew,I'd NEVER forgive myself! 
I was telling my mom this & she was saying that his parents watch him close enough
Also,there's been a commercial on TV for whooping cough. I KNOW that all 3 of the kids are healthy.Still that whooping cough sound from the commercial scares me. Go ahead.Tell me I'm paranoid. I just lov my nieces and nephew so darn much! Thank goodness I see the three of them soon. Boy...are THEY going to get big hugs from ME!
