Healthy Fruit Pops
It is SO HOT in Oregon right now! But AuntAmanda kept things cool & made these sweet AND healthy fruit pops with the niece yesterday and we're enjoying them for a snack again today!
Fruit Pops (from the cookbook "Junior Leagues In the Kitchen with Kids: Everyday Recipes and Activities for Healthy Living" - - on Amazon.com)
1.) Combine 2 cups sliced strawberries with 2 1/2 tablespoons honey in a blender and process until smooth.
2.) Pour into 12 popsicle molds and insert sticks. Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.
3.) Process 6 peeled kiwi with 2 1/2 tablespoons honey and add to the molds.
4.) Freeze for 30 minutes.
5.) Process 1 1/3 cups sliced fresh peaches with 2 1/2 tablespoons honey and add to the molds.
6.) Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.
Unmold and ENJOY!
This cookbook has another recipe for Strawberry Yogurt Pops that are even easier...if this heat doesn't stop, we might have to make those this weekend!
